Why, do we say that?
As it turns out Monica Nicole Hair was inspired by a family of women who were all serviced by me Monica Nicole in the salon over my many years as a hair stylist.
Over a decade ago a client came into the salon that I worked in who suffered from alopecia, which can be defined as a (partial or complete absence of hair), and so my personal awareness about this disorder and other forms of hair loss began.
Over my 20 plus years as a professional stylist, I've observed age, illness, hormones and so many other things that can wreak havoc on the hair of women in our communities.
Just because we go through things DOES NOT mean we can't have the option to have a head of gorgeous hair.
Seeing the need provide women with hair solutions and my desire to help them be the best versions of themselves, regardless of the challenges they face, gave birth to the MONICA NICOLE brand, and we cant wait to serve you.
Unlike most hair extension companies, the Monica Nicole Hair  brand was specifically created and designed for the sophisticated woman who aspires to be a "Boss" in every aspect of her life! But we didn’t stop there…
Our aim is not only to help you to project a lifestyle, but also to live a life where you have the style, confidence, and elegance you desire!

A little more about Monica...

 

My name is Monica Harris, and I am a stylist/entrepreneur from Greensboro, NC.

I initially became a stylist because as a little girl in my mind hair stylist were the fly girls with lots of jewelry, dope cars, and the hot guys. Funny the prospective you have on life as a kid.

I got into the industry straight out of high school. The very first time I turned a client around to the mirror and saw her face light up & her eyes well up with tears, because she looked and felt so amazing, I was hooked. I've experienced that feeling many times over over the past two decades and it still feels just as good as it did the first time.

The Monica Nicole Hair brand now functioning in the world of e-commerce allows me to work with so many awesome women all over the country. The photos, emails, and messages I receive from ladies when they get their new units, the excitement in their voice or maybe that sigh of relief because her hair is now one les thing she has to worry about, all of this gives me a level of satisfaction that I can't describe in words, and for that I am truly grateful.

In addition to being obsessed with hair and beauty, I love to travel and have always been a lover of the arts, music, oh and roller-skating. I’ve been happily married for 12 years and have a newly married adult son. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and being active in my ministry.
